MELBOURNE AIRPORT - T2 Expansion / Environmental graphics
-

The Melbourne Airport is currently undergoing its biggest facelift since it was built in the late 1960’s.
At Baseline we designed an internal hoarding system promoting the re-development in the form of a newspaper featured on the artwork. Due to the required flexibility of the hoarding, roughly 20 different panels were created. These panels work as a group or alone, depending on the area that requires covering.

MELBOURNE AIRPORT - A380 Runway expansion / Environmental graphics
-
Melbourne Airport’s runway widening project was declared Australia’s most outstanding example of construction excellence for 2006. The 50 metre hording graphics was temporarily covering the creation of 7.2 kilometres of concrete pavement to widen the runways to ensure Melbourne could accommodate the huge wing span of the A380 aircraft.

MELBOURNE AIRPORT - 5th Carousel / Environmental graphics
-

As a part of Melbourne Airport's expansion plan, the airport’s fifth international baggage carousel was opened in late 2006. Designed to accommodate the bags of up to 550 people from the Airbus 380 the new area features striking wall displays and large groups of 3x3 LCD screens which promote Victoria’s events. These areas can be completely customised, ensuring Victoria’s major events can welcome international visitors in the most impressive way possible. Illustrations by Ned Culic.
